Patt was given the listing for Sea Star Cottage on May 15th of this year, after our year round renter gave notice that he would be leaving on June 1st.

Within 2 weeks Patt had 4 rentals booked and as of August 1st she has rented Sea Star Cottage for 8 weeks of what has been a so-so rental season on the island this year.

In the past 5 years we have used 3 other agents and they were never able to rent the cottage for more than 6 weeks/summer (which is why we have been thru so many agents!!!!). The amazing thing is that Patt did not have the listing for 6 months like the other agents we tried.

So Why Are We Selling Sea Star Cottage?

We are selling because...

...we are out of room! Four growing kids ages 12 and 8 plus 10 year old twins will do that to ya. We desperately need more space for the six of us and the friends that the kids want to bring to the Island. This is the second time we have outgrown a Chincoteague Vacation Home...

Our first place was a Condo we bought at the old Assateague Inn. It was perfect for about 2 years but space got tight quickly! We traded up to Sea Star or Quinta's Castle as it was called at the time and now we are doing it all over again. We are hoping to find a larger house close to Memorial Park because the kids absolutely love it there. That is where they fish and swing and play tennis.

The best thing about Sea Star is that we can keep an eye on the kids from the kitchen window when they are playing at the Park.

If you or someone you know is looking for a good investment that is in a great location, then Sea Star could be for you.
