About YourWealthPartner
Greetings everyone, my name is Bryan Tuck, and I wish you greetings from the great....well, not so great, state of Michigan..last one out please turn off the lights!
I live in Oakfield township which is technically part of Cedar Springs about a half an hour north of Grand Rapids
Now, if you hold up your right hand...come on, hold up your right hand, Cedar Springs would be about level to the crease where you thumb and hand come together and then directly down from your ring finger. Don't you just love maps!
I was raised in the small town of Niles, Michigan, just north of South Bend, Indian, affectionately know as the "armpit of the midwest", due to the lake effect snow that can accumulate in record amounts.
I was your average boy, with two brothers and a sister. At age 7 we moved to the "country" into a home that sat on four acres and was surrounded by thousands of acres of farm land and the St. Joe River...this was our playground!
I would spend hours with my friends ramming through the woods and and through the farmers corn fields, fishing the river, getting stung be a swarm of bees, ouch!
We were walking through the woods one day and my friend stepped on a bee hive...needless to say they were pissed and we took the brunt of their anger. How fast can you run.
Just one of the many crazy things that happened in my youth. I won't tell you how the BB got lodged in my head almost dead center between the eyes. ; )
I always had a knack for drawing, which I can attribute to my grandmother who was a very successful and recognized portrait artist.
I had all the art classes, private and public, art and band in high school...love music...don't play sax any longer. Picked up the guitar, played in a rock band at one bar for one week and then we broke up...not even a one hit wonder or ONE-DER. Great movie!
That was all fine as I went to work on Mackinac Island where I would find my bride of 24 years amongst the endless parties and bike trips around the island. The most difficult decision we had during those three summers of 81, 82 & 83 was deciding what the next theme party was going to be.
During the years of 82-84 I attended what was Ferris State College, now university, in Big Rapids Michigan...Go due north about 1/2" on your hand. I was in the Commercial Art Program/Graphic Design. I had to use the artistic talents somewhere.
I graduated in 1984, found my first job, got married and found a place to live all within a 2 week period. Little did I know that someone was watching over me and it would be Julie, who helped me to see God in my life.
Fast forward a couple years, working, slaving, cash poor and a new job in Grand Rapids with another ad agency, so the future was promising. I was advancing in my career, we were continuing to be blessed with children, 7 in all that are here with us now. We have lost 10 to miscarriage, but the way we see it is we have 10 angels praying for us and interceding for us.
Then said agency goes into chapter 11...oops...over extended themselves a tad!
After that I was placed on part time, that was June of 1992 and by November of 1992 I had resigned and started my own graphic design company in my home. Lookout world here I come!
Now I was somebody. I had a beautiful wife, at that time 4 awesome children, we had just moved into a new home...not new but new, you know what I mean.
Life was pretty normal for the following 6 years, three more children and then we moved again in 2003 to our current location.
After moving we had a challenge in our life, that would not wish upon any person, that tested our resolve and faith. Challenges on a personal level plus the sudden, but not totally unexpected passing of my brother, Dennis, at age 45. Dennis had a heart transplant at the age of 30 and really was only given 10 years to live, so we were blessed by the additional 5 we had with him. And the sudden and UNEXPECTED passing of Julie's father from a stroke only 8 short months later. Needless to say, by the Grace of God we persevered and are all better for it.
I am an active member of the Knights of Columbus and have been Grand Knight for three years running. Our missions to provide charities with needed funds and help out physically where needed. One of the many activities we provide is a "brunch", we wanted to get away from the traditional name of pancake breakfast. This is a free will donation. We went to this about 5 years ago, and what is so great about it is anyone can come and enjoy a great breakfast and fellowship and not have to worry about being able to afford it. Because those that have give. We saw our proceeds grow substantially once we started this new practice...giving without expecting anything in return.
My wife, Julie has home schooled 5 of our children for the last 5 years, we recently enrolled them into St. Charles Catholic School, something we discerned every year. I will say this, life was much more casual when they children where home schooled.
As I look out my home office window, into our 4+ acres of woods of jack pines and other assorted trees and vegetation, I can't help but wondering what is in store for me around the corner.
I do know that everyday, I must put my faith and trust in God that all will be provided for, I just have to cooperate in his plan, walking in faith with a willingness to serve others before myself.
My design business has been running me for the last several years, kind of getting burnt out on the whole deadline thing, rushing to get things done at the last minute puts a drain on the ole psyche.
Thankfully, I have found a way to begin to work my way out of this chaos and gain control of my life again.
I have spent countless hours, thousands of dollars on programs that, at the outset, seemed very realistic in achieving what I was looking for. Products were exceptional, but finding the people who really wanted what I was offering was very much a challenge. Having people commit to a monthly shipment of vitamins just to get a commission check that was less then what was being spent or dozens of cd's & books to show you how to get wealthy while chunking down a few grand....this was useless.
I recently found a way to help other people achieve what they were looking for, primarily financial security and to get away from the life corporate America offers.
This is an activity that is grounded in an ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE and GIVING WITHOUT EXPECTING anything in return. An activity that at its very core offers everyone, and I mean everyone a "product" if you will, they can relate to and use everyday.
