Affiliate article marketing can be fun and profitable and I thought it would be interesting to note in a review of what I have learned so far as a marketer online. First and foremost, I have learned that it is best to write original content, if you have the time. Experts say to outsource this task, and you may be able to later on once you have earned some income from your article marketing pointing to your affiliate links. In the beginning, however, most people do not have the resources to pay someone to ghost-write their articles for them, so they must do the job themselves. Some people prefer this method to get them started to produce multiple articles all at once.

Secondly, if you are going to purchase PLR articles written by someone else, you must realize that you must take the time to rewrite those articles to do effective affiliate marketing. Article directories, including this one, do not desire anything but original content and you can guarantee that the article pack that you purchased was also purchased by many others that simply cut and paste that material and submit it cold turnkey without any editing. It simply takes a simple search of a sentence to find if an article is duplicated from another source and instantly your article is rejected.

Third, if you desire to do affiliate article marketing, why not take the time to sit down and write at least five articles a day and include in your bio box, a link back to your blog on Wordpress, blogger, or Squidoo that will point them to your product. You must solve a problem that helps your reader, not sell to them. No one likes to have a product stuck in their face and demanded that it be purchased. We all like to be informed of why we should purchase any given product. Leading your reader to your page which includes your affiliate links gives them more information and value and they are much more likely to purchase what you offering.



Finally, article marketing is the most effective and efficient way of marketing a product and once the article is typed, submitted and published with good keywords in the body of the article, you are almost guaranteed of traffic to come to your site. The beauty of affiliate article marketing is that once the article is published and written, that job is done and will be viewed by many readers hopefully for many months or years to come.

Article writing is not hard, it is just tedious at times since you must disclipline yourself to provide enough content for at least a three hundred to five hundred page article to be submitted for review. The theory of affiliate article marketing and has been documented with the fat wallets of those who have followed these guidelines is that indeed it does work.

If you are new to the internet, you must first think of a niche or area of interest that you are most passionate about to begin. Many say that you can write on any multitude of topics and you can, it is just simply easier to begin with a topic that you are interested in and know something about. If that proves to be working and you are making sales from your affiliate products, step up your articles for that one site.

We've all heard it, the famous phrase, 'content is king'. Well if content is king then how the heck can we go about increasing the number of content we are able to utilize. I mean we've all been there, feverishly writing article after article to use for submissions and posting to our sites and the more we write the less enthusiastic we start to become about create a successful online business. So, how can we get around the one thing that all internet marketers hate doing?

PLR Content To The Rescue

If you haven't heard about PLR(private label rights) content then it's basically this - content that you can take and use as your own to submit to article directories, on your site, in an email series or any other method where content necessary.

Well, there are many services out there that offer quality content that members are free to use in which ever way they deem appropriate. This means their link will also have to appear on your page, intern sucking out Google Page Rank that would normally filter through to the other pages on your site. The other disadvantage is the fact that hundreds if not thousands of other marketers out there would be doing the exact same thing. Having the same page on your site as thousands of other people makes it incredibly hard to rank in the search engines.

So What's The Other Option?

The other option would be to pay for your PLR content. There are many services that offer content to their members. This usually means you'll have to share the content with a limited amount of people. Only members will have access to the content, however there are some things you need to look out for.

Firstly how many people will have access to the same content as you? If the service you are looking at requires you to share their content with a thousand other members, then what's the point? You may as well go out and grab content from article directories.

Secondly work out how much you'll be paying per article. If a membership costs $100 and in that member ship you're going to have access to two hundred articles that would mean the cost per article is going to be $0.50. Therefore a membership that offered 400 articles would make the cost per article half of that.
