Keep up to date with Amy Crehore, west coast pop surrealist painter of "Monkey Love", "Little Pierrot" and "Blues Gals" series paintings (as seen on boingboing.net).
Ms. Crehore's art can be found in "Blab! 17" and she participated in the first two Blab art shows in Santa Monica, CA. She has illustrated for many top American magazines such as "Rolling Stone" & "Esquire". Her fine art paintings have been exhibited in museums and galleries on both coasts. In 2007, she was in the "Charity by Numbers" and "Literartistry" Shows at Corey Helford Gallery (Culver City, CA) and the "Venus" Show at Roq La Rue (Seattle, WA). Also, the "Green" Show at Robert Berman Gallery, Santa Monica, CA and Miami Basel with Mark Murphy's "KNOW" Exhibit. In 2008, she will show her work in the Deep Pop show (New Rochelle, NY), M Modern Gallery's 5th Anniversary Show (Palm Springs, CA) and at Ad Hoc Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. She looks forward to a full solo show at Thinkspace Gallery in February 2009 in Los Angeles. Ms. Crehore recently started a line of hand-crafted ukuleles called "Tickler Ukuleles" with Lou Reimuller.

Feb.10-17, 2007 the Corey Helford Gallery, Culver City, CA sponsored CHARITY BY NUMBERS, an ebay auction and art show of artist-transformed paint-by-numbers, that benefitted the Alliance for Children's Rights. Amy Crehore participates for charity.
