What Makes my Wood Carvings so Much Better Than Most?

1- My attention to detail is far superior than most wood carvings you will find on the internet.2- I am unique to most wood carvers because I carve what is called "outset" letters. In this process I first outline the letter and then carve a background around the letter, creating a sort of "island" or 3D effect. This process takes much more time and attention to detail as you can see. if you do any searching for hand carved signs on EBay, the internet, fairs or craft shows, you will find most carved signs have what we call "inset" letters. These are letters that are carved into the board and usually painted black or some other color. My outset letters are far superior to inset letters.
3- Because of the time and detail I put into each sign, my quality and unique style speaks for itself.
4- I do not hire out other people to work on your carving. I do each one myself and take great pride in each creation.

When I was a kid, all of my bedroom decorating ideas, and my bedroom decoration itself, came from my parents. It was really easy. All I really needed was stuffed animals and a comfortable quilt, and I would be happy.My parents came up with all kinds of great bedroom decor ideas on their own. They put up a picture of the solar system on my wall and even got me a bed that looked like a spaceship when I became interested in astronomy. Another time, they decorated my bedroom to look like one of my favorite cartoons. All in all, they had fantastic bedroom decor ideas for me, but as I began to enter adolescence, I knew that I needed to take over and make my room my own.
After all, aside from the clothes you wear, there is nothing that you can use to express yourself better than the way your rooms are decorated. I became interested in wood carving years ago as a way to add character and my own personality to my surroundings. Ask me for some ideas - I have tons of them :)

I am interested in a wood wallhanging in script lettering of the phrase "Summer Place"
I would like the first letters "S" and "P" to be about 10 inches tall with the other lower cases letters
to be about 6-8 inches tall. I would like the letter rounded on the edges. If this is something you are interested in doing, can you give
me a price and time on this job?
I would think a poplar wood would be fine... or any knot-less wood... we will end up painting it. You can email your response.

I am wanting to puchase a custom wood crafted cut out name for my husband for his desk. It would have his name and a place for business cards.
The name would be Kelly FLeetwood. Can you e-mail me a picture, if this is something you do. I do not want it on a plate, I would like the letters to be carved out and but running together on a piece of wood. I hope you can visualize what I would like.
