If you like sipping tea, playing with stuffed animals and skipping through the daisies, Jamorama Lead is NOT for you. But, if you like thrashing solos, loud rock, raw distortion and getting all the attention, then Jamorama Lead is right up your alley!
Jamorama Lead is the second creation by guitar guru Ben Edwards, and it's heavily focused on advanced lead guitar and solo techniques. If you're looking to play lead guitar in a band, this package will get you there fast!
Because of the advanced nature of this course, many people were complaining about not being ready for it. So, Ben and the Jamorama crew decided to add the same bonuses that come with the original Jamorama package:
1. JaydeMusica Pro
2. GuitEarIt!
3. Advanced Learning Techniques for Guitar
4. Guitar Tuner Pro and How to Tune Your Guitar
5. The Jamorama Metronome
They also added an option to get Jamorama and Jamorama Lead together, all at once, for a special price. It's a good plan if you're not comfortable with playing lead yet!
Why Lead Guitar?
Is Jamorama Lead for me?
- ...you are interested in learning how to play lead guitar, and you don't want to shell out tons of cash for private lessons
- ...you have already developed your beginner skills & want to branch out w/ more scales and exercises
- ...you want to play lead in a band

My Jamorama Lead Review
However, I bought the original Jamorama package way before I had even heard about Jamorama Lead, and I thought I was set.
Once I realized the original Jamorama did not include much on scales and exercises DESIGNED for playing lead, I decided it might be cool to expand my horizons.
So, because I liked the structure of the Jamorama system so much, I went for it. (Also, someone from my web class asked me about it, and I didn't want to tell him I liked it without giving it a shot.)
So here's my opinion on it:
Jamorama Lead is sold by some legit dudes in New Zealand, and it's definitely safe to order online. They offer an 8-week money back guarantee, and while I didn't return my copy, I did email their customer support to see how long it took them to reply and it took them a little over 27 hours. (Which is pretty good for email support these days...)
It's pretty cool that you can access the whole system within 10 minutes, too, because everything is online. That means no waiting 1-2 weeks for shipping! =)
Overall, I would recommend Jamorama Lead, provided you fall into one of the groups I mentioned above.
Basically, if you're willing to pay $30 (the cost of about one half-hour private lesson or so) to get 43 awesome lead videos, 29 jam tracks, 2 sweet software programs to help you with reading and playing music, and the $19.95 ebook "Advanced Learning Techniques for Guitar", then I'd highly recommend giving it a shot:
What comes with Jamorama Lead again?
- 43 step-by-step, professionally-made video lessons (my personal favorite part of the Jamorama series)
- Lead guitar skills lesson, including: hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides, whole bends, half bends, ghost bends, runs, motifs, vibrato, legato and much, much more!
- 29 jam tracks: You can play along with their audio recordings as lead exercises (really helpful)
- "Advanced Learning Techniques for Guitar" eBook ($19.95 value)
- "GuitEarIt!" ear training game (pretty helpful if you need work in this area, which practically everyone does)
- "Guitar Tuner Pro" tuning software + eBook (This will teach you various tuning techniques so you can tune without the software, but the program helps, too!)
- "Jayde Muscia Pro" - This is a software program designed to help you learn to read music
- The Jamorama Metronome - Keep time all the time...enough said.
- Also, you'll be able to access all of this instantly after paying securely through Paypal or with a credit card. Who waits for stuff to ship anymore? =)
- ...and one last feature worth mentioning: if you don't like it, or you find that you're not using it enough, email Ben Edwards (ben@jamoramalead.com) and he'll refund your $29.95 right then and there!
