Myspace overlays | Hot Myspace Layouts | Myspace Happy Birthday Comments

I recently decided to go ahead and start playing at myspace. I had previously been playing at the Powerful Intentions community (which I still do) and the layout there is very clean and does not allow for much customization. So you can imagine my suprise when I got to myspace and found that you can do just about anything you want with your space over there.

This new wonderland of customization led to a couple lost days sorting through all the sites that provide ways for you to jazz up your site.

Just as I would get what I thought was the last thing I could jazz, I would come across something else I could change. So here are some of the resources I have come across to add layouts, extended network banners, contact tables, comments, even a new cursor.

Code for Layouts

Layouts are what make your page pretty. They include both the background and the boxes so everything will be coordinating. Be careful when picking a layout that you can read your words. Nothing drives me crazier than getting to a page and I can't see what's written.

Contact boxes

Contact boxes are under your pic. It is where people can add you, message you etc. When you get a layout the message box may or may not be included. These are the sites you can get the codes for you to add your own.

MySpace Contact Tables: The Pimp MySpace Contact Tables page. A collection of contact table codes to add to your profile.
MCT: This is a myspace profile that is made up of lots of code. Many contact tables available.

Network Banners

You know that annoying banner in the right hand corner stating so and so is in your extended network? You don't have to keep it. You can find just about anything from a welcome message to something cheesy or motivational to put in that space. It's called the extended network banner code.

Code for Comments

You know those pretty picture and word comments people leave you. Here are places you can find them so you can send them to your friends. It is easy enough just copy the code under the comment you like and then paste the code in the comment section.

Zingerbug: This site has an extensive list of comments. They have nice comments and beautiful comments.
