I Laughed When Someone Said "I am in love with Squidoo"

This lens is about me and my Squidoo experience. I have fallen in love with Squidoo. No doubt about that! My goal is to produce 100 lenses by Christmas 2008. This list is categorized for your convenience -- and mine! I hope that some of the lenses will be helpful to you. Yes, I have categorized it, and yes, I know some lenses are in 2-3 categories - editorial discretion!!!!!!!! lol
Enjoy - or as my friend, Kate, reminds me "In Joy!"

Goal: 50 acceptable lenses by September 30, 2008 to qualify for Giant Squid! Hang on to your hat!
August 13, 2008 - 40 lenses completed -- 10 to go!

As a member of the Squidoo Activists, I am now using this space also to begin recording amounts donated to Squidoo Charities via my lenses and your visits:

Legally Blind Golfer
When my husband was 42 years old, he was told he was legally blind. At that time, he was driving a UPS delivery truck. Our children were 12 and 18. It was a scary time. And yet, in the 20 years since his diagnosis, he has continued to be an inspiration to all of us. A former golf professional and sem
Legally Blind and the Joke's on Me
Legally Blind is a scary diagnosis. But life can still be fun -- if you learn to laugh at yourself, situations, and with others. No, it's not funny. But you might as well laugh. This is a list of funny and not so funny things that have happened to my husband since he was diagnosed. (Yes, he dictated

Erma Bombeck
Erma Bombeck was a delightfully funny writer, who identified with all of us who were trying to raise our families in the late 60's and early 70's. We clipped her columns, posted them to the front of the refrigerator, shared them with our friends and laughed -- and then laughed some more! In fact, I

Mac Frampton was a member of my class at Erskine College in Due West, SC, in 1962. In those days, we would sit in awe as he played piano for our chapel services.
