Its all about skiing the powder. The deeper and lighter the better. No where in the world can even compare to Utah. No Where!

Ski Gear
What You'll Need For a Utah Powder Day
- Fat Skis - Fatten up and float through the pow and crud. Want to go even bigger? Then check out the Freeride Skis
- Ski Boots (Mens, Womens, Kids) - There is nothing more important to your happiness on the slopes than good fitting ski boots.
- Bindings - Lots of great manufacturers out there. Make sure to buy a pair that will hold you onto your skis with the correct DIN setting for your ability, height and weight.
- Ski Jackets (Mens, Womens, Kids) - Waterproof is a must in the powder. A Gore-Tex jacket will probably stay waterproof the longest, but there are several waterproof and breathable fabrics out there that get the job done.
- Ski Pants (Mens, Womens, Kids) - Same as the jacket. Waterproof is a must.
- Goggles - No you can't ski powder in sunglasses! Did you even look at that picture above?
- Long Underwear (Mens, Womens, Kids) - Fabrics that wick moisture away from your body are the best. Patagonia's capilene is one of the best of these fabrics, but again, you can get away with other types.
